Over 20 yearsPersonal Experience
Elizabeth has a wide-ranging background in projects from leading a team of engineers and architects to develop a non-plant infrastructure masterplan on a remote PNG island to operationalising new aged care residential facilities. She brings with her a wealth of frontline experience working with individuals, groups and organisations in multiple industries to plan and implement projects. She utilises a powerful framework weaving together the Project Management Body of Knowledge, PROSCI Change Management and Meta-Strategy Planning disciplines.
Elizabeth has an insightful and analytical approach to understanding organisational strategic and operational requirements. She believes most organisations are well skilled in their âbusiness as usualâ activities but are challenged with how to effectively plan and implement projects to deliver on their strategic visions, assess market changes, and respond to a world of increasing uncertainty.
In effect, Elizabeth understands that organisations do not change, people do. For sustainable and meaningful change, leaders need good change leadership skills that provide the transparency, accountability, clarity, and empathy staff need to pivot successfully as skilled professionals. Elizabeth has skills in coaching and supporting change leaders and staff in developing their ability to understand and plan change in a consultative and collaborative approach. Her processes guide and support change leaders and staff to grow as individuals and advance the organisationâs maturity and resiliency. Through the ADKAR model (Awareness, Desire, Knowledge, Ability, and Reinforcement), staff can learn vital skills to understand themselves and others, creating a more mature and resilient organisation.
Over her career, Elizabeth has had what she terms the privilege of working with numerous organisations in operational and strategic roles from the media to construction, mining, aged care, local government, state government liaison, and major corporates. Her multi-disciplinary perspective and her unique method of enquiry enable her to quickly and deeply assess an organisationâs challenges and working with staff identify the positive steps to build on the foundation of what has been achieved.
